Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, and pruning of lawns, trees, shrubs, and flowerbeds.
- Operate and maintain various landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Plant new trees, shrubs, flowers, and other vegetation according to landscape designs and seasonal requirements.
- Monitor and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring proper watering schedules and addressing any issues promptly.
- Clear debris, leaves, and waste from pathways, parking areas, and other outdoor common spaces to maintain cleanliness.
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides responsibly and as needed, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Identify and report any signs of plant diseases, pests, or structural damage to outdoor elements.
- Conduct minor repairs and maintenance on outdoor furniture, fences, and other resort grounds amenities.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Assist with seasonal decorations and special event setups as required.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or a related outdoor maintenance role.
- Solid understanding of horticultural practices, including plant care, soil health, and pest control.
- Proficiency in operating various landscaping machinery and tools (e.g., lawnmowers, trimmers, leaf blowers).
- Physical stamina and ability to perform demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high aesthetic standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Basic knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance.
