Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing information about resort activities and local attractions.
- Plan, organize, and lead a diverse range of recreational activities, including sports, games, cultural workshops, and entertainment programs.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of guests during all activities, strictly adhering to established safety protocols and guidelines.
- Assist with the setup, maintenance, and breakdown of equipment and venues for various activities, ensuring they are always in excellent condition.
- Proactively engage guests to encourage participation in activities, fostering a lively and inclusive resort environment.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints efficiently and courteously, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of guest experiences by suggesting new activity ideas and enhancing existing programs.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills in English and French.
- Strong customer service orientation with a proactive and friendly approach.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a diverse team.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- A diploma or certificate in Hospitality, Tourism Management, Sports & Leisure, or a related field.
- Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., German, Italian, Mandarin) is a significant advantage.
- Previous experience in a resort, hotel, or tourism-related environment, particularly in activities or guest relations.
- Certification in specific recreational activities (e.g., swimming instructor, lifeguard, yoga instructor, divemaster).
- Familiarity with local Mauritian culture, history, and tourist attractions.
