Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, and spirits, following recipes and standards.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, making recommendations, and ensuring a positive bar experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
- Manage inventory, restock supplies, and report any shortages to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
- Process payments accurately using the POS system and handle cash transactions with integrity.
- Adhere to all local and national licensing laws and company policies regarding responsible alcohol service.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or bar environment.
- Exceptional knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail for presentation and order accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant bartending certification (e.g., WSET, professional mixology course).
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems specific to hospitality.
