Job Description
We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Restaurant Cashier to join our front-of-house team in Kilifi, Kilifi County. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and process their orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system for all transactions (cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payments).
- Handle cash responsibly, provide correct change, and reconcile the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front counter and dining area.
- Answer customer questions regarding menu items, prices, and daily specials.
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a polite and professional manner, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Assist with packaging takeout orders, ensuring accuracy and proper presentation.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and correct order preparation.
- Uphold all company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards.
- Assist in restocking front-of-house supplies as needed.

- Proven experience in customer service roles.
