Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process all cash, credit, and other forms of payment using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting each customer warmly and assisting with inquiries or concerns.
- Handle cash and maintain a balanced till at all times, ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting workstation, including the counter and surrounding area.
- Assist customers with menu selections, promotions, and special offers.
- Process returns, exchanges, and voids according to company policy.
- Stock and replenish supplies at the counter as needed, ensuring availability of products.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures, including those related to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and overall customer satisfaction.
- Report any discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, or customer feedback to the supervisor promptly and professionally.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in cash handling and operating a POS system.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced retail environment.

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10 kg if required for restocking.

- Ability to speak Sesotho and English fluently to cater to a diverse customer base.
