Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans.
- Hand wash specific items that cannot be put through the dish machine.
- Ensure all washed items are properly air-dried or machine-dried and stored in their designated places.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including floors, sinks, and shelves.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic prep tasks such as peeling vegetables or organizing ingredients, as needed.
- Monitor dish machine temperatures and chemical levels to ensure proper sanitization.
- Dispose of trash and recycling in appropriate bins and maintain cleanliness of waste areas.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies.
- Support other kitchen team members in maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.
