As our first point of contact, you’ll be instrumental in creating a warm, inviting atmosphere, managing reservations, and ensuring a seamless flow for our dining room. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all guests upon arrival, setting a positive tone for their dining experience.
- Manage the reservation system, seating charts, and walk-in guest flow efficiently and accurately.
- Escort guests to their tables, ensuring they are comfortable and providing menus.
- Answer incoming calls professionally, assisting with reservations, general inquiries, and taking messages.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entrance area, and waiting lounge.
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Anticipate guest needs and assist with special requests or accommodations.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with grace and escalate to management when necessary.
- Assist in other front-of-house duties as needed, including polishing cutlery or folding napkins during downtime.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role (retail, call center, etc.) is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with restaurant reservation software (e.g., OpenTable, Resy) is an asset.
- Ability to speak multiple languages is considered an advantage.
- A passion for food and beverage, and a desire to learn about the industry.
