Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and cooks with food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and cutting ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all kitchen areas, including work surfaces, floors, and storage units.
- Wash and sterilize kitchen utensils, dishes, pots, and pans, ensuring a constant supply of clean items.
- Support in receiving and storing kitchen deliveries, checking for quality and quantity.
- Monitor and manage kitchen waste, ensuring proper disposal and recycling procedures.
- Operate and clean kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, mixers, and other appliances safely and efficiently.
