Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment by washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
- Ensure all kitchen surfaces, equipment, and storage areas are regularly cleaned and sanitized according to hygiene standards.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation and storage of food items.
- Support the culinary team during service by fetching ingredients, cleaning workstations, and ensuring smooth flow.
- Dispose of waste and recycling in designated areas.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and personal hygiene.
- Assist with inventory management by reporting low stock levels and organizing supplies.
- Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
