Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to KFC brand standards.
- Lead, train, coach, and motivate a diverse team of restaurant staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction to control costs.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by monitoring service quality and addressing feedback promptly.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, profitability, and overall restaurant performance.
- Manage cash handling procedures, conduct regular audits, and ensure financial accuracy.
- Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Conduct performance reviews, manage scheduling, and handle disciplinary actions as required.
- Implement local marketing promotions and community engagement initiatives.
- Resolve customer complaints efficiently and professionally to uphold brand reputation.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar leadership role in QSR.
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including inventory, cost control, and P&L statements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (POS systems, Microsoft Office).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with KFC or another major Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brand.
- Knowledge of local food safety regulations in Mauritius.
- Fluency in both English and French (Mauritian Creole is a plus).
