Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to KFC's operational standards.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and excellent customer service.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stock control, and minimizing waste to optimize costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
  • Monitor and manage financial performance, including sales targets, cost control, and profitability, preparing regular reports for management.
  • Maintain exceptional customer service standards, handling customer feedback and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Develop and implement local marketing initiatives to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members, identifying areas for development.
  • Manage staff scheduling, payroll inputs, and ensure adequate staffing levels for all shifts.
  • Uphold the brand's quality standards for food preparation, presentation, and store cleanliness.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in restaurant management, preferably within a QSR environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a proven track record of motivating and developing staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with customers, staff, and management.
  • Solid understanding of restaurant financial management, including P&L, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and supply chain processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
  • Working knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
  • Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience with the KFC brand or other major international Quick Service Restaurant chains.
  • Certifications in Food Safety and Hygiene (e.g., HACCP).
  • Experience with restaurant management software and POS systems.
