Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow, impeccable guest satisfaction, and efficient back-of-house coordination.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team of front-of-house staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to maintain optimal stock levels and control costs without compromising quality.
- Implement and enforce strict health, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with all provincial and local regulations.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze sales data, manage budgets, and identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost efficiencies.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies and promotional activities to attract new clientele and enhance the restaurant's reputation.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints professionally and efficiently, ensuring a superior dining experience for every patron.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring teams and delighting guests.
- Proven financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and P&L management.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software (POS, reservation systems, inventory).
- Comprehensive understanding of food and beverage operations, including wine and cocktail knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to train, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
Preferred Qualifications
