Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat guests, presenting menus and daily specials with enthusiasm.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, using a POS system, and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Clear tables, reset dining areas, and maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant.
- Process payments efficiently and accurately, handling cash and credit card transactions.
- Provide recommendations for food and wine pairings, demonstrating strong menu knowledge.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure smooth service.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, as well as restaurant policies.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a server in a restaurant setting.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills in English and German.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in operating POS (Point of Sale) systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
