Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, present menus, and inform them of daily specials.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, using a POS system, and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Monitor dining areas to anticipate guests' needs and respond to requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations.
- Process payments, handle cash, and operate credit card machines accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other front-of-house team members.
- Address guest concerns and resolve issues professionally, escalating when necessary.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down dining areas.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Server or in a similar customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems.
