Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Restaurant Shift Supervisor to join our vibrant team in Cottesloe, Perth. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring efficiency and adherence to service standards.
  • Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bussers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Handle cash management, including till reconciliation, deposits, and ensuring accurate payment processing.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, address feedback, and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including food safety standards.
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures, including setting up and securing the restaurant.
  • Manage inventory for front-of-house supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve any operational issues.
  • Assist with scheduling, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions for front-of-house staff.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and inviting dining area at all times.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1.5 years of experience in a supervisory or senior front-of-house role within a restaurant setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team supervision and motivation.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities under pressure.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.
  • Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or certification in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Experience with inventory management and ordering systems.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Knowledge of local food and beverage trends in Perth.
  • Proven track record of improving operational efficiency or customer satisfaction scores.
