Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store all incoming goods, verifying against invoices and purchase orders for accuracy.
- Maintain precise inventory records, conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies.
- Implement and uphold FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory rotation to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
- Monitor stock levels and prepare requisitions for replenishment to prevent shortages.
- Ensure the storeroom is clean, organized, and compliant with all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Manage the distribution of supplies to various kitchen sections upon request.
- Identify and report damaged, expired, or slow-moving items.
- Assist in negotiating with suppliers and comparing prices to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Operate inventory management software or systems efficiently.
- Contribute to improving inventory control procedures and operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles (FIFO, stock rotation).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in basic mathematics and record-keeping.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items, and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Diploma or certification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
