Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon their arrival, seating them appropriately.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and offer recommendations with enthusiasm.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders using a POS system and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, ensuring presentation and temperature standards are met.
- Monitor dining tables regularly to ensure guest satisfaction and respond to any additional requests.
- Process payments accurately, handle cash and credit card transactions, and manage the till.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members to ensure smooth service.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, as well as restaurant policies and procedures.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the dining area.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills in English.
- Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service in a high-volume setting.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
