Job Description

Shoprite Lesotho is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Retail Cashier to join our vibrant team at our Teyateyaneng branch, serving the Ha Ramakhaba community and surrounding areas. As a Retail Cashier, you will be the face of our brand, providing a crucial first and last impression for our valued customers. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process all customer transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and other payment methods efficiently and securely.
- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers warmly and assisting with inquiries.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.
- Accurately reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security.
- Assist with bagging groceries and other items for customers as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and customer flow.
- Inform customers about current promotions, loyalty programs, and special offers.
- Resolve customer complaints or refer them to management when necessary.
- Monitor checkout queue lengths and call for assistance when required.
