Career.zycto is searching for an enthusiastic and meticulous Part-Time Retail Shelf Stocker to join our growing team in Anchilo, Nampula. In this vital role, you will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and replenishing merchandise on the sales floor. You’ll work closely with the store management team to maintain accurate inventory levels, prevent stockouts, and ensure our shelves always look their best. This position requires physical stamina, the ability to work independently, and a keen eye for detail to ensure products are correctly priced and rotated according to freshness standards. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently unload and process incoming merchandise deliveries.
- Stock shelves, displays, and chillers with new products, ensuring proper rotation (FIFO – First In, First Out) and adherence to planograms.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom and sales floor.
- Inspect products for damage or expiry dates, removing unsaleable items and reporting discrepancies.
- Assist with periodic inventory counts and stock reconciliation.
- Ensure products are correctly priced and labeled according to company standards.
- Safely operate manual equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks when required.
- Assist customers with locating products and provide basic assistance when on the sales floor.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and operational guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and achieve sales goals.
