Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and organize incoming merchandise shipments promptly and accurately.
- Efficiently stock shelves, displays, and racks with new products, ensuring proper rotation and placement.
- Verify inventory counts against delivery manifests, reporting any discrepancies to management.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized backroom and stock area.
- Rotate products to ensure older items are sold first and prevent spoilage or expiration.
- Assist in preparing merchandise for sale, including ticketing and security tagging when necessary.
- Support the sales floor team by replenishing items as needed throughout the day.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies related to handling merchandise and operating equipment.
- Contribute to a positive team environment through clear communication and collaborative effort.
- Assist with periodic inventory counts and store reorganizations as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 25 kg (50 lbs) regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic communication skills in English.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
