Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently unload and unpack incoming merchandise, verifying quantities against invoices.
- Organize and accurately stock shelves, racks, and displays according to planograms and store standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe backroom and sales floor, including storage areas.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock discrepancies or needs to management.
- Assist with inventory counts and contribute to maintaining precise stock records.
- Ensure products are clearly priced and labeled, correcting any errors as needed.
- Support visual merchandising efforts by ensuring products are attractively displayed.
- Assist customers with locating products or direct them to sales associates for further assistance.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently (training provided if necessary).
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy merchandise (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
