Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily retail operations during daytime shifts, ensuring smooth and efficient store functioning.
- Supervise, train, and motivate a team of retail associates to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Manage cash handling procedures, including opening and closing registers, deposits, and daily reconciliation.
- Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards are consistently met.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service issues with professionalism and efficiency.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise.
- Monitor sales performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategies to achieve targets.
- Uphold company policies and procedures, including safety, security, and loss prevention protocols.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Collaborate with store management to implement promotions, marketing initiatives, and operational changes.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
- Ability to work daytime hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
