Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with inquiries, product selection, and checkout processes, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, stockroom, and common areas.
- Receive, unpack, and process new merchandise, including ticketing and placement on shelves.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with regular stock counts and replenishment.
- Support sales associates with merchandising, visual displays, and promotional setups.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately and handle cash and card transactions.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security guidelines.
- Handle customer returns and exchanges efficiently and courteously.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and sales targets.
- Provide feedback on customer preferences and store needs to management.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a customer service or retail environment (6 months minimum).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency for POS operations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
