Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, including operational, financial, compliance, and strategic risks, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement robust risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of risk data, generating insightful reports and dashboards for senior management and relevant committees.
- Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and emerging risks, providing timely alerts and recommendations for mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with various departments to embed risk awareness and best practices across the organization.
- Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and internal governance standards.
- Support the continuous improvement of risk management tools, methodologies, and reporting capabilities.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, fostering a clear understanding of risk exposures and proposed solutions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Risk Analyst or in a similar role within financial services or a regulated industry.
- Strong understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and frameworks.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables) and other data analysis tools.
- Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to risk management (e.g., FCA, GDPR).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly.
