Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's risk management framework, policies, and procedures.
- Identify, assess, monitor, and report on various types of risks (operational, financial, strategic, compliance, reputational).
- Conduct regular risk assessments and facilitate risk workshops with relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and provide timely reports on emerging risks and trends.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls, ensuring their effectiveness.
- Prepare comprehensive risk reports for senior management and board committees.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on risk management awareness and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal audit, legal, and compliance teams to ensure integrated risk governance.
- Participate in business continuity planning and disaster recovery efforts.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in risk management, preferably within financial services, tech, or a regulated industry.
- Strong understanding of risk management principles, methodologies (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000), and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in risk assessment tools and techniques.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or professional certifications such as FRM, PRM, CRISC, or similar.
- Experience with GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) software platforms.
- Knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for risk reporting.
