Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement robotic systems and components, including manipulators, mobile robots, and autonomous platforms.
- Conduct research and feasibility studies for new robotics applications and technologies.
- Develop and optimize algorithms for robot control, path planning, navigation, and perception (e.g., computer vision, sensor fusion).
- Perform simulation, prototyping, testing, and debugging of robotic hardware and software.
- Integrate robotic systems with existing infrastructure and third-party components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, software engineers) throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Document designs, test procedures, and results comprehensively.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in robotics, AI, and automation.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed robotic solutions.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in C++ and Python for robotics development
- Extensive experience with ROS (Robot Operating System)
- Strong understanding of kinematics, dynamics, and control theory for robotic systems
- Experience with sensor integration (LIDAR, cameras, IMUs, force sensors)
- Familiarity with robotic simulation environments (e.g., Gazebo, CoppeliaSim)
- Solid foundation in data structures and algorithms
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
