Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead technicians in preparing job sites, including setting up safety equipment and tarps.
- Perform manual removal of moss, algae, and debris from various roof types using brushes, scrapers, and appropriate tools.
- Operate and maintain pressure washers and other cleaning equipment under supervision.
- Apply cleaning solutions safely and effectively, following specific guidelines and protocols.
- Load and unload equipment and supplies from company vehicles.
- Ensure all work areas are clean and tidy upon job completion, including debris disposal.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, especially regarding ladder safety and working at heights.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic throughout the workday.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working on sloped surfaces.
- Comfortable working at heights and on ladders.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
