As a Roofer Helper, you will work closely with our experienced roofing professionals, learning the essential techniques and safety protocols of the trade. Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled roofers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of various roofing systems (e.g., flat roofs, pitched roofs, tiling, slating).
- Safely load, unload, and transport roofing materials (tiles, slates, felt, insulation, tools) to and from work areas.
- Prepare work sites by setting up safety equipment, scaffolding, ladders, and protective sheeting.
- Clean up debris, waste materials, and maintain a tidy and organised workspace at all times.
- Learn and strictly adhere to all company and industry safety protocols and regulations.
- Support the roofing team with a variety of manual labor tasks as directed by the lead roofer.
- Handle and maintain tools and equipment properly, ensuring they are kept in good working order.
- Assist with basic demolition and removal of old roofing materials.
- Perform general site duties to ensure smooth project execution.

- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, bending, and working at heights.

- First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
