Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain guest rooms and suites to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation, following established procedures and checklists.
- Make beds, change linens, and ensure all bedding is fresh and neatly arranged.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and polish all surfaces, furniture, and fixtures within guest rooms.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including showers, toilets, sinks, and mirrors, replenishing amenities as needed.
- Replenish all guest room supplies, including towels, toiletries, and minibar items, ensuring accurate inventory.
- Handle and transport cleaning equipment, supplies, and soiled linen safely and efficiently.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items promptly to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Respond courteously and efficiently to guest requests, ensuring their needs are met with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a professional and friendly attitude towards guests and colleagues at all times.
- Assist with other housekeeping duties as required, including public areas or linen room tasks.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a relentless commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and order.
- Physical stamina and agility to perform tasks requiring standing, bending, lifting, and pushing throughout the shift.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Basic communication skills (English or French) to interact politely with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain guest privacy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (at least 6 months) as a Room Attendant or in a similar housekeeping role, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
- Knowledge of various cleaning chemicals and equipment, and proper usage techniques.
- A diploma or certificate in Hospitality or Housekeeping operations.
- Fluency in both English and French.
- A proactive and positive attitude, with a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations.
