Key Responsibilities
- Manage all incoming room service orders and inquiries via phone and internal systems with efficiency and professionalism.
- Accurately input orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system, ensuring all details, including special requests and dietary restrictions, are noted.
- Coordinate closely with kitchen staff, room service attendants, and other departments to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Monitor order status and proactively communicate any delays or issues to guests.
- Handle guest complaints and feedback gracefully, striving for immediate resolution and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation, including accurate record-keeping of orders and transactions.
- Assist in managing inventory of room service supplies and amenities.
- Train and mentor new room service attendants on operational procedures and service standards.
- Process payments and maintain accurate cash handling procedures where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese.
- Proficiency in using Point-of-Sale (POS) systems (e.g., Opera, Micros).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
