Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Engineer to join our client’s team, operating from their prestigious Mayfair, London office. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed risk assessments, hazard identification, and incident investigations.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant UK and international safety regulations, standards, and legislation (e.g., HASAWA, CDM Regulations).
- Provide expert advice and guidance on safety matters to project teams, management, and contractors.
- Prepare and deliver safety training programs and awareness campaigns for all levels of staff.
- Lead and participate in safety audits and inspections, identifying areas for improvement and corrective actions.
- Analyze safety data, prepare reports, and present findings to stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate safety-by-design principles into new projects and modifications.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Safety Engineer in a relevant industry.
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent recognized safety qualification.
- Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
- Strong understanding of UK health and safety legislation and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related engineering or safety discipline.
- Chartered membership with a relevant professional body (e.g., IOSH, IIRSM).
