Shoprite in Lithabaneng, Maseru, is actively seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Sales Assistants to join our growing team. As a Sales Assistant, you will be the face of Shoprite, directly interacting with customers and ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and a friendly demeanor. Your day-to-day will involve assisting shoppers with product inquiries, helping them locate items, and ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked, clean, and organized. You’ll be instrumental in maintaining appealing product displays that attract attention and drive sales. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor, ensuring products are merchandised attractively.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, unpacking, and stocking merchandise.
- Monitor product expiry dates and ensure proper rotation of stock.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Stay informed about current promotions, products, and services offered by Shoprite.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures of the store as required.

- Knowledge of retail operating procedures and merchandising techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems
