Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing product information and recommendations.
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets and KPIs.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash, card, and mobile payments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor and display areas.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving, restocking, and organizing merchandise.
  • Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide exceptional after-sales support.
  • Educate customers on product features, benefits, and promotions.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience and efficient store operations.
  • Stay informed about new products, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and security guidelines.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a customer service or sales role (minimum 6 months).
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with POS systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

Preferred Qualifications

  • OND/HND/B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in the retail or consumer goods industry.
  • Proficiency in additional local languages (e.g., Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa).
  • Knowledge of product display and merchandising techniques.
