Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly upon their arrival, offering proactive assistance and guidance to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
- Accurately process sales transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, including stocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring product availability.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, provide detailed information, and offer personalized recommendations based on their needs and preferences.
- Handle customer returns, exchanges, and complaints courteously and efficiently, striving for satisfactory resolutions.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment.
- Uphold company policies and procedures regarding sales, security, and customer service standards at all times.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service or retail sales role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Basic mathematical skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions.
- Ability to operate a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Strong work ethic and reliability, with the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
