Job Description
Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team in Maputo. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for sales and a desire to build a strong foundation in a fast-paced business environment. As an SDR, you will be the initial point of contact for prospective clients, playing a critical role in generating new business opportunities and nurturing leads. Your primary focus will be on outbound prospecting, engaging with potential clients, understanding their needs, and qualifying them for further discussions with our Senior Sales Executives. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, email outreach, and social selling, to identify and qualify new sales opportunities.
- Research and identify target accounts and key decision-makers within our ideal customer profile.
- Engage potential clients in meaningful conversations to understand their business challenges and pain points.
- Articulate Career.zycto’s value proposition effectively and generate interest in our services.
- Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and seamlessly hand them over to the appropriate Senior Sales Executives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and activities within our CRM system.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation strategies and ensure alignment.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a sales, customer service, or client-facing role (minimum 1 year).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed targets.
- Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales engagement tools.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and possess a strong work ethic.
- A keen interest in understanding business needs and market trends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Prior experience in B2B lead generation or sales development.
