Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive for Corporate Accounts with a proven track record to join our distinguished team in Tower Isle, Ocho Rios. This experienced professional will be instrumental in identifying, developing, and managing relationships with corporate clients to drive MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) business, group bookings, and corporate retreats for our luxury resorts.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the corporate travel and events market, demonstrating exceptional negotiation skills and a strategic approach to sales. You will be responsible for creating and executing comprehensive sales strategies, meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual revenue targets, and expanding our market share within the corporate segment. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively communicate the unique value proposition of Couples Resorts to a diverse range of corporate decision-makers, fostering long-term partnerships built on trust and mutual success.
Your day-to-day will involve extensive prospecting, engaging in client consultations, crafting bespoke proposals, and delivering compelling presentations. You will serve as the primary point of contact for your corporate accounts, ensuring their needs are met with the highest level of service and professionalism from initial inquiry through to post-event follow-up. Collaborating closely with our resort operations, marketing, and revenue management teams, you will ensure seamless execution of events and a consistently exceptional client experience. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed corporate account revenue targets.
- Actively prospect for new corporate clients, identify key decision-makers, and build a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing corporate accounts through regular communication and exceptional account management.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments for corporate clients and develop customized proposals and packages that align with their objectives.
- Present compelling sales pitches and presentations to corporate executives and event planners.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales effectively, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Resort Operations, Marketing, and Revenue Management to ensure seamless delivery of services and events.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to track performance and inform strategic decisions.
- Represent Couples Resorts at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and ethical standards.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in B2B sales, specifically targeting corporate accounts, MICE, or group sales.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strategic thinking and strong analytical capabilities to identify market opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proven experience in client relationship management and fostering long-term partnerships.
