Vodacom Lesotho is seeking an exceptional Sales Executive to join our vibrant team based in the Ha Seshote, Butha-Buthe region. Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the Ha Seshote, Butha-Buthe region and surrounding areas, focusing on both individual consumers and local businesses.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, actively listening to their needs and offering tailored Vodacom solutions.
  • Present, promote, and sell Vodacom products and services (e.g., mobile subscriptions, data packages, value-added services, enterprise solutions) to existing and prospective customers.
  • Achieve and consistently exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as set by management.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify selling possibilities, evaluate customer needs, and stay informed on competitor activities.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling and appropriate presentations on products/services to diverse audiences.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals effectively, addressing customer concerns and handling objections professionally.
  • Collaborate closely with team members and other departments (e.g., Marketing, Customer Service) to achieve collective goals and enhance the customer experience.
  • Keep abreast of the latest sales best practices, industry trends, and Vodacom’s product portfolio updates.
  • Continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge through feedback, training, and personal development initiatives.
  • Provide excellent after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction, foster loyalty, and encourage repeat business.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Sales Executive or in a similar sales role for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and presentations.
  • Familiarity with CRM practices and the ability to build productive business relationships.
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, and target-driven with a demonstrable track record in sales.
  • Exceptional selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong prioritization, time management, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to create and deliver engaging presentations tailored to various audience needs.
  • Strong relationship management skills and openness to constructive feedback.
  • Fluent in both English and Sesotho (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a closely related field.
  • Direct experience in the telecommunications or mobile technology industry.
  • Demonstrable experience working with and achieving challenging sales targets.
