Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for various product categories.
  • Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and community outreach.
  • Develop and implement local marketing and promotional activities to attract new customers and drive foot traffic.
  • Build and maintain strong, lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and provide comprehensive information to prospective clients.
  • Prepare sales proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales effectively.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new sales and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to ensure alignment between sales and broader marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM tools.
  • Represent Courts Mammouth at local events, trade shows, and community engagements to promote products and services.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience, preferably in retail or consumer goods.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Goal-oriented with a strong drive to achieve and surpass targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid Mauritian driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with CRM software.
  • Demonstrable experience in planning and executing local marketing initiatives.
  • Knowledge of home appliances, electronics, or furniture market trends.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to engage diverse audiences.
