Key Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers warmly on the sales floor, identifying their needs and preferences through active listening.
- Present and demonstrate Digicel's full suite of products and services, including mobile devices, plans, home internet, and business solutions.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit, and other payment methods.
- Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for new activations, upgrades, and value-added services.
- Provide expert advice and resolve customer queries, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all Digicel products, services, promotions, and competitive offerings.
- Assist with inventory management, merchandising, and maintaining the visual appeal of the sales floor.
- Adhere strictly to company policies, procedures, and security protocols.
- Actively participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service or retail sales environment (preferably 1+ year).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident and engaging personality.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse customers.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required by retail operations.
- A genuine passion for technology and an eagerness to learn about new products and services.
Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 CXC/GCE O'Level passes, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Previous experience in the telecommunications industry.
- Familiarity with the Digicel product ecosystem and services.
- Experience working in a target-driven sales environment.
