Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Sales Operations Analyst to join our vibrant team in Kicukiro, Kigali. This pivotal role will be instrumental in optimizing MTN Rwanda’s sales efficiency and effectiveness, providing critical insights that drive strategic decisions. As a Sales Operations Analyst, you will be the backbone of our sales team, transforming raw sales data into actionable intelligence. You will analyze performance metrics, identify trends, forecast sales, and streamline sales processes to ensure our sales force is equipped with the best tools and information to succeed. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and analyze sales performance metrics, dashboards, and reports to provide actionable insights to sales leadership.
- Monitor sales trends, identify areas for improvement, and recommend strategies to optimize sales processes and boost productivity.
- Support the sales forecasting process by gathering data, performing statistical analysis, and collaborating with sales managers.
- Manage and maintain data integrity within our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce), ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align sales strategies with company objectives and ensure seamless execution.
- Identify bottlenecks in the sales funnel and propose solutions to improve conversion rates and customer journey.
- Assist in the development and implementation of sales training programs and materials based on performance analysis.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and provide strategic recommendations to support new product launches, market expansions, and other business initiatives.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP CRM).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in the telecommunications industry.
- Familiarity with SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Project management skills.
- Proficiency in Kinyarwanda.
