Job Description
Are you a highly motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for sales and customer engagement? Econet Wireless Zimbabwe is seeking a dedicated Sales Representative to join our vibrant team in Kariba, Mashonaland West Province. In this crucial role, you will be the face of Econet, responsible for driving sales of our diverse range of products and services, including mobile subscriptions, data packages, value-added services, and eco-system products like Ecocash. You will work closely with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions that enhance their digital experience. Key Responsibilities
- Actively prospect for new customers and identify sales opportunities within the Kariba market.
- Present, promote, and sell Econet products and services to existing and prospective customers.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
- Continuously improve through feedback.
- Provide excellent customer service and after-sales support.
- Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
- Manage customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
- Stay informed about new products, services, and policies of Econet Wireless Zimbabwe.
Required Skills
- Proven work experience as a Sales Representative or similar role, preferably in the telecommunications sector.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships.
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with telecommunication products and services.
- Strong understanding of the Kariba local market dynamics and customer base.
- Ability to speak local languages relevant to the Kariba region.
