Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory in Ha Foso, Maseru, and beyond.
- Engage with potential customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable Vodacom products and services.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to individuals and small groups.
- Achieve and consistently exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with Vodacom product knowledge, service offerings, promotions, and the competitive landscape.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and activity plans to management.
- Participate actively in sales meetings, training sessions, and promotional events.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally, escalating complex cases when necessary.
Required Skills
- Proven track record in sales or customer-facing roles, demonstrating a capacity to meet and exceed targets.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong ability to build rapport and establish trust with diverse customers from various backgrounds.
- Goal-oriented with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Fluent in Sesotho and English, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with local clientele.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and access to reliable transport is highly advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in the telecommunications or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry.
- Familiarity with the Ha Foso, Maseru local market dynamics and community needs.
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for lead tracking and customer management.
