Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and accurately log incoming samples, ensuring all relevant information is captured in our tracking systems.
- Prepare samples according to specific protocols, which may include labeling, aliquoting, and preliminary inspection.
- Organize and maintain sample storage areas, ensuring proper conditions and accessibility for further analysis.
- Perform routine inventory checks of samples and consumables, reporting any discrepancies or low stock levels.
- Assist in maintaining meticulous documentation, including sample manifests, chain of custody forms, and data entry logs.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely sample processing.
- Identify and report any issues with sample quality, integrity, or labeling to senior staff.
- Contribute to a clean, organized, and efficient working environment.
