Job Description

Beitbridge High School is seeking an exceptional and visionary School Principal to lead our esteemed institution. Key Responsibilities

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in an educational leadership role, with at least 3 years as a Head of Department or equivalent senior position.

  • Strong leadership, management, and organizational skills with the ability to inspire and delegate effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including public speaking and conflict resolution.
  • Proficiency in financial management, budget oversight, and resource allocation.
  • Deep understanding of curriculum development, pedagogical best practices, and educational technology integration.
  • Ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance school culture.
  • Thorough knowledge of educational policies and regulations pertinent to Zimbabwe.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Certified School Administrator or Principal's License/Certification from a recognized body.
  • Experience working in a diverse community setting with varying socio-economic backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in local languages prevalent in Matabeleland South (e.g., Ndebele, Shona) is considered a significant advantage.
