Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons across the specified curriculum for primary or secondary students.
- Assess, monitor, record, and report on the learning and development of students, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and respect.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for all students.
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and extracurricular activities as required.
- Implement and uphold school policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding and behaviour management.
- Utilise a variety of teaching methodologies and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
Required Skills
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject.
- Proven experience teaching at either Primary or Secondary level.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education or a related field.
- Experience with specific curriculum frameworks relevant to UK education (e.g., National Curriculum).
- Evidence of continuous professional development and innovative teaching practices.
