El Alsson British and American International School is actively seeking an outstanding Full-Time Secondary Level Science Teacher to join our distinguished faculty in Giza, Giza. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging, high-quality science lessons (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) for secondary students (ages 11-18) according to British (IGCSE/A-Level) or American (AP) curricula.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity, inquiry, and critical thinking.
  • Design and implement diverse instructional strategies, including practical experiments, project-based learning, and technology integration.
  • Assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum, share best practices, and contribute to the overall school improvement plan.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities, science clubs, and school events to foster student engagement and holistic development.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians regarding student performance and well-being.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with educational trends and scientific advancements.
  • Ensure a safe and orderly classroom environment, especially during laboratory sessions.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) or Science Education.
  • Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary level (ages 11-18).
  • Strong knowledge of either the British (IGCSE/A-Level) or American (AP) science curriculum frameworks.
  • Excellent classroom management and pedagogical skills.
  • Ability to design and execute engaging practical experiments.
  • Proficiency in utilizing educational technology in the classroom.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications
