Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic team in Heilbronn. At Career.zycto, you’ll play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and collaboration within our development teams. You will be instrumental in guiding and coaching our cross-functional teams, ensuring they adhere to Agile principles and Scrum practices to deliver high-quality products efficiently.
As a Scrum Master, you will act as a servant-leader, shielding your teams from external distractions while facilitating all Scrum events, from daily stand-ups and sprint planning to sprint reviews and retrospectives. Your expertise will be crucial in removing impediments, managing risks, and fostering an environment where self-organization and accountability flourish. You will work closely with Product Owners to ensure a well-refined and prioritized product backlog, maximizing value delivery.
This role extends beyond mere process facilitation. Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective) effectively and efficiently.
- Coach and guide development teams and Product Owners on Scrum principles, practices, and values.
- Identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress, ensuring smooth workflow.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and self-organization within the team.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a healthy and refined product backlog.
- Promote effective communication and collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders.
- Shield the team from external interruptions and distractions.
- Track and report on key Agile metrics to ensure visibility and drive informed decision-making.
Required Skills
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and Scrum framework.
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Scrum certifications (e.g., A-CSM, PSM II).
- Experience with scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, Scrum@Scale).
