Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of sea freight import and export operations, from booking to final delivery.
- Liaise effectively with clients, shipping lines, customs brokers, and overseas agents.
- Prepare, check, and process all required shipping documentation (Bills of Lading, customs declarations, etc.).
- Monitor cargo movements and provide proactive updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Negotiate competitive rates with carriers and service providers.
- Ensure strict compliance with international shipping regulations, customs laws, and company policies.
- Resolve operational discrepancies, delays, and customer service issues promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records and utilize freight management software for efficient workflow.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization within sea freight operations.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in sea freight forwarding operations.
- Strong understanding of international shipping documentation, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
