Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate, and dedicated Secondary School Teacher to join our esteemed faculty. This pivotal role involves delivering high-quality education to students aged 11-18, inspiring a love for learning, and preparing them for both academic success and life beyond the classroom. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver comprehensive, engaging lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum and school standards for secondary-level students.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students through various evaluation methods.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including attendance, grades, and behavioural notes.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment conducive to active learning and student engagement.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student well-being and academic achievement.
- Participate actively in professional development activities, faculty meetings, and school-wide initiatives.
- Mentor students, provide pastoral care, and offer guidance as needed to ensure their holistic development.
- Organise and supervise extra-curricular activities, educational field trips, or school events to enrich the student experience.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies that promote respect, responsibility, and a productive learning atmosphere.

Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject area with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent.
- Strong subject matter expertise in a secondary school discipline (e.g., Mathematics, English, Science, History, Geography, French).
- Excellent pedagogical skills and proven classroom management abilities.
- Proficiency in modern teaching technologies and educational software.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and connect with diverse student populations.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Fluency in English and French (both written and spoken) is essential for effective communication within the school and community.
