Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing on internal systems and applications.
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on security architecture, technology selection, and secure coding practices.
- Respond to security incidents, lead forensic investigations, and implement effective recovery strategies.
- Monitor security systems for anomalies, alerts, and potential threats, ensuring timely detection and remediation.
- Educate employees on cybersecurity awareness, best practices, and policy compliance through training sessions.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, technologies, and regulations, continuously evolving our security posture.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in security assessment tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, Metasploit, Burp Suite).
- Strong understanding of network security protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Experience with cloud security principles and platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and BSI IT-Grundschutz.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
